Welcome to registration for NVCSA's Beginning Cued American English class via Zoom!

The 8-session course will consist of 16 classroom hours. Two-hour sessions will meet twice weekly (Monday and Thursday evenings, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, beginning Monday, April 29, 2024). Class dates are April 29, May 2, 6, 9, 13, 16, 20, and 23. Time zone is Eastern.

This course is progressive; each lesson is built on successful completion of prior lessons. Attendance at the first class is mandatory. Please plan to attend all classes; recordings of each class will be made available to class attendees for review, or in case of unanticipated absence.

This class is for adults and teens, age 16 and up.

Instruction will be conducted in spoken English. Auto captions are available. Remote Closed Captioning through the Virginia Department for Deaf and Hard of Hearing may be requested (though availability has decreased with recent rise in demand).

The instructor for this class is Maureen Bellamy. Maureen has been trained and certified by the National Cued Speech Association as an Instructor of Cued Speech.
