Welcome to Frontline Recruitment Group, an official "On Contract" supplier of Nursing staff to all HSC Trusts in Northern Ireland.

This page is exclusively for candidates already registered with Bond Healthcare Ltd who would like further information on joining Frontline.

As a sister company of Bond Healthcare, we have simplified the registration process of joining Frontline for existing Bond agency workers, and the information below will hopefully assist in your decision making.

To minimise the volume of enquiries to our staff at an exceptionally busy time, we would be very grateful if could read this document thoroughly as we believe the vast majority of expected queries are answered below.

Questions & Answers

What is an “on contract” agency?

An “on contract” agency is an approved partner of the HSC Trusts for the supply of temporary nursing staff.

What are the benefits of joining Frontline?

As an “on-contract” agency, Frontline will be the first point of contact for vacancies and will therefore receive vacancies before they are released to “off contract” agencies.  In addition, there will be a much higher volume of vacancies available across all areas and more opportunities for block bookings and full-time hours. Joining Frontline is completely free of charge and you will have immediate access to all available nursing vacancies via the Frontline App. A tunic & name badge will also be sent to you once you have booked into your first shift.

Can I claim mileage or other travel expenses?

No – “On Contract” agencies are not permitted to charge the Trusts for mileage or travel expenses.

I’m also a permanent employee of the HSC Trust, can I work in my own ward as an agency worker, sometimes known as “Trust Own Staff” shifts?

No – “On Contract” agencies are not permitted to supply Trust Own Staff to the Trust where they hold a substantive post.

Do I receive Holiday Pay?

Holiday pay has been included within the pay rates below and will be clearly detailed on your weekly payslip.

Will I have a pension with Frontline?

Yes, all candidates will automatically enrol with our pension provider "NOW Pension". You will receive separate information directly from NOW Pension after you work a few shifts, including instructions on "opting-out" should you wish to do so.

Why do the HSC Trusts use “Off – Contract Agencies”?

HSC Trusts use “Off-Contract” agencies when they have exhausted all other means to fill the shift.

Can I also continue to work for Bond Healthcare?

Yes, you will still be able to work with Bond Healthcare. It is important to stress however that most HSC Trusts will not allow you to work with multiple agencies so you will need to decide what agency you will use for that particular Trust.  If you decide to join Frontline for any trust, it’s very unlikely you will be able to move back to Bond or any other off contract agency for that Trust should you change your mind. This decision lies with the Nurse Banks and not Bond or Frontline management.

Will I have to go through the registration process to join Frontline?

If you are currently working for Bond Healthcare, you can give permission to share your full compliance file with Frontline. This will mean that you have nothing to do in order to clear for work except complete an application form for Frontline. Your compliance status will then be visible on the Frontline App.

Why do I have to complete another application form if I wish to join Frontline?

Frontline is a separate nursing agency and therefore is subject to minimum standards set out by the RQIA.  We therefore need an application form as part of your compliance file.

Will I have to provide employer reference details to Frontline?

If you work regularly for Bond Healthcare, then please state Bond Healthcare as your most recent employer on the Frontline application form.  We will then obtain a reference directly from Bond on your behalf.

Does Frontline have an App?

Yes, Frontline uses the same App technology as Bond Healthcare and therefore you will be very familiar with it.  If you decide to register with Frontline, you will be given access to our App which will have the same functionality as Bond. Your login details will be the same for both Apps.

How do I access the Frontline App?

Once you complete the Application Form for Frontline, the final screen will display the links to download the Frontline App from the Apple's App Store or the Google Play Store.

What are my Frontline App Login details?

Once we receive your application form, we will send you a text when you application form has been approved. We will then grant you access to the Frontline App.  Please use the same username and password as your Bond App.
