Small Business BIG Marketing is the flagship event of the Small Business Festival Victoria. The half-day event is dedicated to improving marketing practices across the small business sector. It aims to help small businesses better understand how to promote their business and leverage the latest channels and tools to their advantage. The event will feature motivational speakers who provide inspirational and practical take home advice that can be applied to any small business.

The event also provides attendees with the opportunity to meet like-minded small businesses and service providers as well as access to specifically tailored advice through the Small Business Mentoring Service.
In 2014 this event attracted 860 small business owners and employees. As an exhibitor, this is a great opportunity to increase the exposure of your organisation to a targeted audience and meet hundreds of potential new customers.

 

Selection Criteria
Exhibitor space is limited so all interested parties must complete an online application form.
All applications will be judged by a three-person panel and assessed against a selection criteria which includes but is not limited to:

• businesses that offer marketing or related services
• how your business offering is relevant to the Small Business BIG Marketing audience (Victorian small business owners, typically sole trader in business for less than four years)
• what proportion of your business service is directly targeted at SME’s
• how you intend on using the exhibition space if successful (what makes you stand out from the crowd?)
• the presentation of your website and detail of written application.
