Gender Equality Pledge Registration

Individuals and businesses of all sizes are encouraged to sign on to the Pledge.

The department will include individuals in initiatives to help achieve gender equality in Victoria and will work with organisations to help them implement the Victorian Government Gender Equality Pledge.

Once approved you will receive a certificate to acknowledge your Pledge and your name will be published on this website. Privacy collection notice

The department values your personal information and protects your privacy in compliance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Act). For more information read the Privacy Policy.

Your Pledge includes the following personal information: your name, organisation, position title and contact details. This personal information will be collected by the department for:

• recording your organisation’s commitment to gender equality as described in the Gender Equality Pledge
• contacting you to follow up about the outcome of your pledge commitment
• making your Pledge available to other Victorian Government agencies for follow up on outcomes of your Pledge commitment
• publishing your Pledge (including your personal information, the name of your organisation and the nature of your Pledge) on the department's website, other Victorian Government websites or any Victorian Government social media sites.

Victorian Government websites are accessible worldwide and allow any person to view your Pledge. Your Pledge may remain on external servers, even once the department has removed it from the Victorian Government website/s.

You have the right to access and correct your personal information. Requests for access and privacy related queries should be sent to the Privacy Officer by email at contact@dpc.vic.gov.au.
