Juvenile Hall Ministry

On Sunday mornings our team goes to the Shasta County Juvenile Rehabilitation Facility. Our heart is to build relationships with the youth and to see Jesus transform lives through His Love. We teach the Word, encourage, and speak into the future of the residents there. Please note: There is an application process and vetting is required.

Reach Redding

Join us every other Wednesday to get filled with the Spirit, inspired, equipped, and go together to share the abundant love of Jesus with the people of Redding.

Friday Night Strikes

Colaboring with God to see the city of Redding transformed through the power of evangelism and intercession. Join us every Friday!

Sunday Morning Breakfast

Once a month on Sunday mornings, we prepare and serve breakfast for our friends in the streets (the homeless). We love being able to meet practical needs and lead our guests into a greater connection with the heart of God and church family. There are opportunities to serve in the kitchen and/or serve our guests with the love, power, and friendship of Jesus in the streets.

8:00 am-10:00 pm Cook the meal

10:00 am-12:00 pm Go to the Streets

Benevolence Ministry

The Benevolence phone line receives 50-100 phone calls each week from people requesting assistance with rent/lodging, utilities, food, gas, and medicines. Our Benevolence volunteers primarily minister to people over the phone by returning phone calls to gain perspective on situations, discussing each case with the overseer to see if and how we can help, and then informing each person about the decision made. Our goal is to facilitate an encounter with the Father in a way that changes the person’s life, whether we are meeting practical needs or ministering the love and power of Jesus.

Water Baptisms

Be part of the team that helps new believers take the next step in their faith journey! Once a month, at our Sunday night service, the Baptism Team teaches a class to those wanting to be baptized. You’ll get to encourage and minister to the baptism candidates and help facilitate their experience during the service. It’s amazing to witness each person making a public declaration of their faith in Jesus and encountering His resurrection life through baptism!

New Life Outreach

We are excited to invite you to the New Life Outreach Activation. This will be a new year of reaching our city through intentional relationships and the hope of Christ. Thanks to amazing individuals who love Redding we get to partner and serve our city together. You will meet Paul Abbott, Linda Parry, and more throughout the year, as well as hear testimonies of individuals whose lives have been transformed because of purposeful relationships.

Backpack Giveaway

Equip Shasta County and neighboring cities' children for success this school year by volunteering at Bethel's 20th Annual Backpack Giveaway! We need your help to create an incredible experience where families encounter the love of Jesus and leave confident they will win at school this year!

Thanksgiving Celebration- November 23, 2023 at The Veterans Hall

Join us as we prepare and serve a home cooked Thanksgiving meal in a family atmosphere to hundreds of people in our community. 

Holiday Feast- December 9, 2023 at Bethel College View

Join us as we love and serve our Redding Community this holiday season! We need your help turning Bethel's College View campus into a space where every guest feels welcomed. Be a part of bringing a three-course feast, Santa's Workshop, and more family fun to life.
