"Out of the Box" by SOS Tutoring

"Out of the Box" is a class of 16 students who have been diagnosed with high-functioning Autism, Chronic Health Diagnosis, or other Neuro-Diversity. We provide 7 adults during our morning learning time to support our students towards their learning goals and through their academic curriculum. We are a sensory-sensitive learning environment for children who need a quiet place to work and a high level of adult support. This program is offered to students enrolled in an Online school that provides funding for intervention or has Autism funding through BC Autism.

"Out of the Box" runs 4 days a week with mornings being filled with Academics and adult support while the afternoons are made up of Outdoor Education, Choir, Ukulele classes, sewing/Knitting, PE and Rock Climbing.
