UGA International Student Exchange Proposal

The UGA International Student Exchange Proposal consists of two steps:

Step 1: Upon submission of the UGA International Student Exchange Proposal (the form you are currently viewing), print it and attach to a copy of the UGA International Student Exchange Request for Approval form (PDF).
Step 2: Send the proposal and form to academic unit administration for review and approval.
Step 3: Email the signed UGA International Student Exchange Request for Approval (PDF) to studyaway@uga.edu.
Step 4: OGE will facilitate review of the proposal.
The UGA International Student Exchange Request for Approval is a fillable PDF. If you are using the Google Chrome browser, you can fill it in your web browser. Otherwise, you can download the file to your computer to fill it in.

Submit this Proposal to the Exchange Committee 12-15 months prior to the proposed initial date of exchange.

  • Exchanges that are proposed to start in the fall, must be received by by September 1 of the prior year.
  • Spring exchanges should be submitted by January 15 of the prior year.

Signed approval of the department and college must be obtained prior to submitting proposals to the exchange committee.
