One RTOERO Outstanding Leadership Award may be presented each year. The Outstanding Leadership Award will comprise:

· a donation of $1,000 to the charitable organization of the recipient’s choice, and

· an invitation to attend the next RTOERO Banquet in for the recipient and up to three guests.

CRITERIA FOR SELECTION:

1. The RTOERO Outstanding Leadership Award is presented to an RTOERO member in recognition of outstanding voluntary contributions to the work of RTOERO beyond the District level.

2. To retain the prestige associated with the Award, its presentation is at the discretion of the Board of Directors, and is not necessarily presented on an annual basis.

3. Members of the Board of Directors and Members of Standing and/or Advisory Committees are not eligible for nomination for the RTOERO Outstanding Leadership Award for three years after their service has been completed.

Note: Current and Past Employees are ineligible for nomination

PROCESS:

1. Districts are invited to submit a nominee, by completing this online application below.

2. A candidate for receipt of the Award is chosen by the Board of Directors.

3. Nominations are not held over from year to year, but may be resubmitted.

4. The Award is presented at the next RTOERO Banquet.

5. The deadline for submission is Friday February 9, 2024

Un Prix de Leadership Exceptionnel de RTOERO peut être remis sur une base annuelle.

Le Prix de Leadership Exceptionnel comprend :

· un don de 1 000 $ à l’organisme de charité choisi par le récipiendaire, et

· une invitation à assister au prochain banquet de RTOERO pour le récipiendaire et jusqu’à trois invité(e)s.

CRITÈRES DE SÉLECTION :

1. Le Prix de Leadership Exceptionnel est présenté à un membre de RTOERO en reconnaissance de sa contribution bénévole exceptionnelle pour RTOERO au-delà du niveau du district.

2. En vue d’assurer le prestige associé à ce prix, son attribution est laissée à la discrétion du Conseil d’administration et il n’est pas nécessairement remis chaque année.

3. Les membres du Conseil d’administration et les membres des comités permanents et/ou consultatifs ne sont pas admissibles au Prix de Leadership Exceptionnel de RTOERO avant d’avoir terminé les trois années suivant leur mandat.

Remarque : Les employés en poste ou anciens ne peuvent être mis en nomination.

PROCESSUS :

1. Les districts peuvent soumettre une candidature sur le formulaire de mise en nomination en remplissant le formulaire ci-dessous.

2. Le récipiendaire du prix est choisi par le Conseil d’administration.

3. Les nominations soumises l’année précédente ne peuvent être reportées l’année suivante. Un district peut cependant soumettre à nouveau la même candidature.

4. Le prix est présenté lors du prochain banquet de RTOERO.

5. Les nominations doivent parvenir au bureau provincial au plus tard le vendredi 9 février 2024.
