Volunteer Positions

Ticket Taker and Usher are the two primary Front of House volunteer positions because it takes a large number of people to greet patrons, tear their tickets, and show them to their seats.

Volunteers are also needed to staff the Berks Arts Council Raffle/Information Table throughout the fest.
Volunteers will primarily be assigned to either a ticket taker or usher position. There are limited opportunities available for Blues Fest Merchandise and Artist Merchandise tables. If interested in working these areas please note below. Please be aware that if you are not assigned either of these you will be scheduled as either a ticket taker or usher. Thank you!
Yes, I've worked this position at Berks Jazz Fest and/or Reading Blues Fest in the pastNo, but I'm willing to learn!

In-person orientation for the Reading Blues Fest is mandatory for all volunteers. All volunteers must be trained on the procedures for this year and have an opportunity to discuss the schedule. By clicking here, I acknowledge that I have read and understand that I must attend an orientation session in order to volunteer with Reading Blues Fest. Orientation sessions will be held in the GoggleWorks.
