I agree to follow the rules of The Designer Cat Association, as posted below, for as long as I choose to be a member of this Association. I understand that I am here by my own choice & that I may rescind this document at any time upon written notice to The Designer Cat Association, but that there will be no refund of any fees paid by me at such a time. I understand that The Designer Cat Association has the right to take action against me, including refusal of further services to me, if I am found to be in violation of these rules.
1. I will not with knowledge or intent breed for, or produce, any physically limiting deformities.
2. I will not neglect or abuse, or tolerate the knowledge of the neglect or abuse of, any cat or kitten in my care or in the care of others.
3. I will not, with knowledge, falsely register any cat or kitten.
4. I will not, with knowledge, misrepresent the breed of any cat or kitten.
5. I will not, with knowledge, misrepresent the ancestry of any cat or kitten.
6. I will not, with knowledge, carry a recessive rexing or hairless gene into any program where it is not within that breed’s allowable outcross.
7. I will treat other breeders & their breeds with the same respect that I wish to be treated.
8. I will support other breeders’ efforts in the development, registration, advancement & promotion of all viable new breed cats.
9. I will support education of all breeders, pet owners & registering Associations toward the acceptance of all viable new breed cats.
10. I will accept the Officers of The Designer Cat Association as the final authority in the resolution of any dispute regarding The Designer Cat Association Registration or Association policy.
