YES, HAVE COASTAL'S INDEPENDENT CPA PREPARE OUR HOA'S TAXES. Your taxes will be prepared at the rate indicated in your year-end financial package. If your HOA was not managed by Coastal Association Services, Inc. last year and did not have taxes prepared through our office, your HOA may have past year's taxes that are unfiled. Those filings will be prepared at the same rate. Once your HOA's taxes are prepared, they will be forwarded to your HOA president to review, sign, and mail. Should your HOA owe taxes, a check will be included. FYI: Some tax payments are electronically debited from your bank account and will be noted as such.
NO, WE CHOOSE TO FIND OUR OWN CPA TO PREPARE OUR HOA'S TAXES. Coastal Association Services, Inc. will provide your HOA Board a financial package for your CPA.

YES, HAVE COASTAL'S INDEPENDENT CPA PERFORM OUR HOA'S FINANCIAL REVIEW. (Effective January 1, 2008: California Civil Code 1365, Associations with MORE THAN $75,000.00 in income, are required to have a review of their financial statements done by an independent CPA.) The CPA who will be preparing the taxes for our valued HOAs, will also be offering a savings for this service. This review will be performed at the rate indicated in your year-end financial package. Note: HOAs with income less than $75,000.00 do NOT need this review.
