The Illinois Education Foundation (IEF) is proud to announce that the application period for the 2010-2011 IEF Signature Scholarship is now open.  This year marks the IEF’s fourth year of supporting community college students as they pursue their personal and professional goals. To be considered for the Signature Scholarship, please fill in the information below as completely and accurately as possible.

The minimum qualifications and eligibility requirements for the Signature Scholarship are as follows:

-Graduating high school seniors and current community college students with a 2.0 GPA  or returning adult students;

-Applicants must be pursuing their first degree/certificate at one of the seven City Colleges of Chicago (Malcolm X, Richard J. Daley, Harold Washington, Olive-Harvey, Kennedy-King, Wright, or Truman), or a suburban community college campus;

-Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents eligible for federal and state financial aid and demonstrate proof of filing the FAFSA;

-Applicants must be highly motivated and committed to their own academic and professional success.




Before your begin, please make sure you have the following:

1) Completed 2010-2011 FAFSA
2) 2010-2011 SAR
3) Most recent resume
4) Names and email addresses for two recommenders

Applications that do not include the above items are considered incomplete.
